RailOffice
RailOffice is GEOKOD Rail's office software for processing track superstructure survey data – from field measurements to tamping machine inputs, all in one program.
The program builds on field measurements from RailSURV trolleys (TrackMaster TM3000, GG-05 VBP and TrackMaster CFG) as well as classic geodetic data from a total station or GNSS receiver. RailOffice calculates the actual (as-built) track position, compares it with the design, and prepares both geodetic and machine outputs for construction and maintenance.
RailOffice builds on GEOKOD Rail's many years of experience developing software for processing track survey data – we verify our calculation methods on our own surveying contracts and continuously develop the program based on real-world use.
Application
- Processing field survey data and calculating the actual (as-built) track position
- Importing and managing the track design (project)
- Comparing the measured condition with the design, generating deviation reports and charts
- Geodetic calculations on track projects (normals, rail belts, point coordinates by chainage)
- Calculation of staking-out elements and chord-measurement protocols
- Calculating track shifts and lifts for automatic tamping machines (ASP)
- Batch processing of multiple measured sections at once
- Project management and archiving
Main features
- Processes data from GEOKOD's own RailSURV measuring trolleys as well as from a total station or GNSS receiver – full control over the measured data; data captured by a RailSURV trolley can be fully post-processed in RailOffice
- Three ways to input the track design – manual entry, semi-automatically from a drawing (DGN/DWG), or automatically from LandXML
- Displays background drawings in DGN, DWG and DXF formats, with support for WMS map services
- Graphical and tabular display of measured and calculated values, user-configurable, with the option to transfer templates between users
- Supports data formats of leading tamping machine manufacturers – Plasser & Theurer (WinALC/DosALC), Matisa, Framafer, Harsco – output in classic tabular form as well as fully graphical
- Exports results and charts to CSV, Excel, PDF and printed reports
- Unique function for batch calculation of staking-out points on the track axis by definition, with a definable interval and vertical and horizontal offset, including calculation of platform edges
- Software fully tailored to surveyors – with the track axis design in hand, a surveyor can calculate everything needed without support from the designer
- Definition of multiple tracks with clear display – an entire railway station can be defined, with easy switching between individual tracks
- Input data validation – the system can detect faulty design data when importing or defining the track axis
- Developed in the Czech Republic and the EU
